Our company was founded in 1950, as Wolin-Levin, a small firm managing just one rental property in Hyde Park. Over more than a half century, we have grown to become the most experienced full-service community association management company in Chicago, offering a wide range of services, including physical, administrative, accounting and financial services, real estate leasing and brokerage services, developer consulting and more. 

As a result of our growth and experience, we have been selected to manage many of the Midwest’s most prestigious properties and communities. Our portfolio, although focused purely on residential communities, is diverse; consisting of townhomes, downtown high-rises, prestigious cooperatives, suburban Homeowner Associations, in Chicago and its neighboring suburbs.
 
In 2004, Wolin-Levin became part of FirstService Residential, the largest residential property management company in North America, overseeing more than 6,000 properties and over 1.5 million residential units. This allowed us to leverage the many differentiating programs and industry-leading management services the organization offers to benefit our clients.

Another major company milestone occurred in June 2013 as our parent company united its property management companies under the FirstService Residential brand. At that time, our name changed from Wolin-Levin to FirstService Residential Illinois, the name we hold today. This rebranding reinforces the visibility of our affiliation with FirstService Residential and facilitates our ability to share best practices and collective and corporate resources. And as an added benefit, we still offer the local Chicago area knowledge and connections, caring relationships and focus on customer service that have made us the leading residential property management leader in our area.
