BLOOMINGTON, MN (September 23, 2016) – FirstService Residential, the Twin Cities’ leading property management company, announced today that one of the company’s associates and one of their community associations were presented awards at the Community Associations Institute of Minnesota (CAI-MN) 2016 Vision Awards ceremony, which recognizes the industry’s best performers. The event was held at International Market Square with record attendance of more than 180 industry professionals supporting and celebrating the nominees and award recipients.

Three FirstService Residential associates, and one community association managed by FirstService Residential, were nominated for awards. The community association and one associate were named finalists and presented awards. Jessie Hamilton, Association Manager, was recognized for the Excellence in Service Award for her unwavering commitment and loyalty to her clients, and her ability to interact well with board members, managers, service providers, and other industry professionals.

The Outstanding Community/Building by an Association Award was presented to Girard Park West, a community association FirstService Residential has managed since the community was built and association formed 40 years ago. Recognition is given to an association that does an outstanding job at community resourcefulness, has a strong sense of commitment to enhancing the neighborhood and recognizes and uses the strengths of its individuals within the association.

“Being recognized in our industry and winning these awards illustrates our ongoing effort to deliver the exceptional service and solutions our clients deserve,” said Mark Gittleman, President of FirstService Residential. “All of our associates works really hard every day to make a difference for every resident in the communities we serve.”

Vision Award nominations are submitted by industry leaders and juried by a panel of vendors and peers who are unaware of each nominee’s identity and the company in which they are affiliated.
