Ogman Oversees a Management Portfolio of Condominium and Cooperative Properties in Brooklyn, Queens, and Upper Manhattan

NEW YORK, September 21, 2022 – FirstService Residential, New York’s leading residential property management company, announced the promotion of Jennifer Ogman to a vice president of its CityLine Division, a group that specializes in managing multifamily properties across New York City’s outer boroughs. As a vice president, Ogman has executive oversight of a team of property managers responsible for managing more than 20 condominiums, cooperatives, and multifamily complexes comprising roughly 4,300 units throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and Upper Manhattan.

Ogman began her career in hospitality before joining FirstService Residential in 1996 as a property manager in the company’s Brooklyn office. Drawing upon her 25+ years of experience, Ogman enriches her team with core principles in customer service and excels at earning the trust of the condo and co-op boards in her portfolio. During her previous tenure as managing director, Ogman’s team consistently maintained a nearly 100% client retention rate, illustrating a motivation to exceed client expectations and deliver the highest level of customer service to shareholders and unit owners.

“Over the last decade, it has been personally rewarding to watch Jennifer’s professional development as a member and leader of the CityLine Division,” said Keith Werny, president of FirstService Residential’s CityLine Division. “As a vice president, she will continue to play an integral role in the division’s growth, tapping into her customer service skills and extensive experience managing outer borough properties, large mixed-use sites and a team of dedicated management professionals.”

“As a native New Yorker, it’s a distinct pleasure helping boards and owners enrich the lives of residents who live and work here,” said Ogman. “From Brooklyn to The Bronx, there’s no other management company in New York City that offers a balance of local expertise and big-box resources that empower property managers to deliver meaningful solutions for the most complex challenges. I look forward to continuing to lead my team within the division as vice president, especially during a time when our clients need the most support.”

Ogman’s promotion arrives on the heels of a significant expansion of FirstService Residential’s New York City management portfolio. In just 12 months, the company added more than 3,800 units to its portfolio representing Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Westchester County. Among the company’s new clients are some of the city’s most iconic multifamily properties, including Madison House, an 805-foot-tall skyscraper in NoMad; 100 Eleventh Avenue, designed by Pritzker Prize laureate and renowned architect Jean Nouvel; the award-winning American Copper Buildings in Midtown East; One Boerum Place, home to the most expensive rental apartment in Brooklyn history; and Parkway Village, a 675-unit garden-style community in Briarwood, Queens.
