Premier Communities Management Company Changes Name to FirstService Residential
Name Change Part of North American Rebranding Effort Highlighting

DALLAS (June 27, 2013) – The corporate headquarters of FirstService Residential has announced that its subsidiary, Premier Communities Management Company, has been renamed FirstService Residential. This name change is part of FirstService Residential’s national rebranding effort, which took effect on June 27, 2013.
FirstService Residential is the largest manager of residential communities in North America, overseeing more than 6,000 communities serving the needs of over 1.5 million residents.
The former Premier Communities Management Company, an established leader in the Dallas/Fort Worth/Austin residential property management market, manages a client portfolio of more than 200 communities. It became a subsidiary of FirstService Residential in 2007.
“From day one, FirstService Residential has shared our mission to provide community association management with the highest level of service, and continues to provide differentiators to our local team in our effort to enhance the value and quality of life for every resident and community we serve,” said Cindy Huey, formerly CEO of Premier and now President, FirstService Residential North/Central Texas.

Huey also noted that the rebranding to FirstService Residential signifies a change in company name only, and all day-to-day operations will remain “business as usual.” Current property management teams will remain in place to service their existing customers, with added benefits gained from access to an expanded core of resources, combined purchasing power and shared expertise and best practices.
