Andrew Lester serves as President of FirstService Financial. Since 1989, Andrew has held many senior leadership roles within FirstService where he focused on operational management, growth and delivering value-added services across all markets including Vice President within the FirstService Brands Division, Vice President of Community Association Management Operations for FirstService, Chief Operating Officer of Prime Management Group and as the Regional President for The Continental Group.
 
Andrew has worked closely with the executive team at FirstService Financial since its inception in 1998 and permanently joined FirstService Financial in 2009 to oversee all national banking, lending and insurance products and initiatives.
 
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Western Ontario and is a licensed 2-20 insurance agent in the state of Florida.

Alex Nguyen serves as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Operations at FirstService Financial. He is responsible for overseeing the delivery of financial services and products and developing innovative products and programs to enhance value for our communities and residents.
 
Previously, Alex was Senior VP and Head of Strategy & Corporate Development for FirstService Corporation where he led the acquisition of over 70 companies across a wide range of industries. Before joining FirstService in 2008, he worked in private equity at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.
 
Alex is a CFA Charterholder. He earned his BBA from York University's Schulich School of Business, graduating with distinction.

Marina Capobianco joined FirstService Financial in January 2014.  She is responsible for all accounting and finance functions for FirstService Financial.

Marina has spent the past 25 years working with leading financial services organizations. She has held diverse management roles in the areas of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Management Reporting while supporting senior management with strategic implementations, turn-around operations, mergers and acquisitions.

Marina has a B.S. in Management from Purdue University and an M.B.A from the University of Massachusetts.

Sean Kent is responsible for the brokering and placement of insurance products on behalf of FirstService Residential clients. As an in-house resource, Sean delivers value by serving as an advocate and ensuring that FirstService managed associations receive the best possible insurance coverage at the most competitive market rates.

Sean has spent the past 10 years in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance serving clients in both brokering and underwriting capacities. Prior to joining FirstService, Sean was Vice President at Johnson, Kendall & Johnson focused on the brokering and placement of Property & Casualty Insurance for mid-large commercial companies, and started his career as an underwriter for Crum & Forster Insurance Company, specializing in large casualty.

Sean is a graduate of Hobart College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree and is a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designee from the American Institute of Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriters.

Jordan Muchnick joined FirstService Financial in June 2012.  He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s lending department which sources over $500 million in debt placement annually for FirstService Residential clients. During his tenure, FirstService Financial has placed more than $2 billion of new debt for clients across the US and Canada. He is also responsible for the banking relationship within FirstService Residential’s Canadian markets, including Ontario and Alberta.

Prior to joining FirstService Financial, Jordan spent seven years at Marcus & Millichap where he was responsible for the negotiation and sale of 50 retail investment properties across the Northeastern United States with a market value over $150 million.

Jordan is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Operations Management and a minor in Management Information Systems.

Karla Chung is the relationship manager for all FirstService Residential affiliates in the West and the financial institutions that serve her clients. Karla also provides banking and investment related services advice to the clients of her affiliates.

Prior to joining FirstService Financial, Karla worked for Deutsche Bank as a Vice President providing institutional trust services to Issuers, Arrangers and Investment Managers of structured debt securities.

Karla has a BBA from Pace University in Finance and Accounting and an MBA from New York University in Finance.

John Lee leads the FirstService Financial team in the South region, overseeing both banking and insurance relationships. John and his team are charged with facilitating deposit placement services for the 2,000 properties in the South region. They also advise boards and provide expertise on the insurance procurement and placement process.

John spent 4 years running the condominium unit of an insurance brokerage prior to taking this role. He also spent several years working for FirstService Residential in the Developer and Startup division.

John received a B.B.A. in Marketing from James Madison University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Miami.

Jamie George joined FirstService Residential in 2011, moving over to FirstService Financial in 2013. She is responsible for the West and Texas insurance brokering and placements. She brings value to our clients by managing the insurance process for clients and ensuring the best possible coverage and premiums offered.

Jamie has spent the past 25 years in the insurance industry. Prior to FirstService, she spent 10 years running an agency focused on commercial and personal lines placements. In 2006, she shifted her primary focus from auto dealerships to homeowner and commercial associations.

Jamie obtained an Associate’s degree in business from Shoreline College and currently holds insurance licenses in 23 states.

Jourdan Weltman is General Counsel for FirstService Financial in Dania Beach, Florida. She oversees legal matters and risk management for all issues affecting the company throughout the United States and Canada. 

Jourdan has over a decade of experience in various areas of law, including insurance and corporate business. Before joining FirstService Financial, Jourdan served as associate general counsel for the largest Florida insurance carrier, managing its subrogation litigation and resolution of large claims.  

Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, Jourdan lives with her husband and two daughters in Hollywood, Florida. Jourdan obtained a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar. In her free time, Jourdan serves on a Miami-Dade County Charter School board and enjoys traveling and tackling home renovations.
