FirstService Residential’s Randy Grimes wins “Rising Star” Award
CHICAGO, Ill. (December 15, 2016): FirstService Residential, Chicagoland’s leading property management company, is pleased to announce that Randy Grimes, regional director at FirstService Residential has been presented with the Rising Star Award from Community Associations Institute of Illinois (CAI). This award recognizes newer committee members who have demonstrated exemplary leadership skills, expressed interest in becoming future leaders and have become an asset to the local chapter CAI through volunteerism.

Grimes has more than 20 years of management experience with 15 years concentrated in property management. He started at FirstService Residential in 2006 as a property supervisor. Now a regional director, he manages a diverse portfolio including luxury high-rise condominiums and cooperatives located in the Gold Coast, Lakeview, Loop, South Loop and Evanston. Grimes is an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM). He is an active member of Apartment Building Owners and Managers Association (ABOMA), Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA), Association of Sheridan Condo/Co-op Owners (ASCO), Gold Coast Neighbors Association (GCN) and The Magnificent Mile Association (GNMAA). He has served on the golf committee for Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the associate board for Equality Illinois, the Young Chicago board and currently serves on the social committee for the Chicago chapter of CAI.
