NEW YORK, October 23, 2023 –  FirstService Residential, the leading manager of residential properties in the New York region, has announced the appointment of five associates to leadership positions within the Multifamily Rental Management Division (“the division”). The promotions reflect the company’s tremendous growth, which includes an addition of more than 5,000 rental units to its New York management portfolio over the past two years.



Jaime Sanmiguel is promoted to vice president in the division. Sanmiguel has executive oversight of a team of property managers who oversee a portfolio of more than 3,700 apartments, including some of the city's most prominent rental properties.
 
Yolanda Amparo is promoted to vice president of Lease Administration. Amparo leads a team of specialists who oversee management of leases and related agreements for the division’s portfolio, which includes 12,000 rental units in the New York region.
 
Al Shehada is promoted to managing director in the division, with a management portfolio that includes nearly 3,000 rental units in Long Island City, Yonkers, and Manhattan.
 
Ashlee Friedmann is promoted to managing director in the division and now oversees a portfolio of more than 3,000 units across Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.
 
Eric Yoskowitz is promoted to managing director in the division. He oversees a portfolio of 1,500 units in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, with more than 1,000 additional units in the pipeline for consulting services and future management.
 
Rounding out the division's leadership team is Marc Pollack, a managing director with 15 years of residential asset management experience
