NEW YORK, October 16, 2023 –  FirstService Residential, the leading manager of residential properties in the New York region, is pleased to announce that GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum has named Marc Kotler a 2023 Influencer in Multifamily Real Estate, a designation that honors individual pioneers and organizations whose efforts will have a tangible impact on the multifamily sector for years to come.

As founder and president of FirstService Residential’s New Development Group, Kotler serves as a consultant for developers responsible for the city’s next generation of iconic structures. His consulting portfolio includes distinguished projects such as Rafael Viñoly’s 432 Park Avenue; One Wall Street, the largest completed commercial-to-residential conversion in Manhattan; Jean Nouvel’s 53 West 53 supertall tower above the Museum of Modern Art; as well as ultra-luxury hotel-condominium properties including The Plaza Hotel & Residences, The Beekman Hotel & Residences, Baccarat Hotel & Residences, and the ongoing conversion of the historic Waldorf Astoria New York Hotel.

For the local economy, these developments represent nearly $8 billion in private investment, tens of millions in annual tax revenue, and thousands of construction-sector and permanent jobs.

"Marc’s consulting and management expertise has proven vital to the opening and long-term success of signature properties across New York City. We are honored that he is being recognized for his work helping developers define their brand, enhance value and marketability, and elevate the resident experience."
