Our company was founded in 1989 as Abbott Enterprises, a small firm specializing in community association management.  Over the years, we have grown to become the leading full-service residential property management organization in South Carolina.  Today, we offer a wide range of community association management services, including physical, administrative, accounting and financial services, real estate leasing and brokerage services, developer consulting and more.

In 2011, Abbott Enterprises became part of FirstService Residential, the largest residential property management organization in North America. This allowed us to leverage the many differentiating programs and industry-leading services the organization offers, all for the benefit of our clients.

Another major company milestone occurred in June 2013 as our parent company united its management companies under the FirstService Residential brand.  At that time, our name changed from Abbott Enterprises to FirstService Residential South Carolina, the name we currently hold.  

This rebranding not only strengthens the visibility of our affiliation with FirstService Residential, but also makes it easier to share best practices, collective resources and corporate resources.  Even better, we still can maintain our local knowledge and connections, our caring relationships and our focus on customer service – the very same qualities that helped make us South Carolina’s residential property management leader.
