At FirstService Residential, we do what’s right. We believe it is our responsibility to lend a hand when our friends and neighbors need assistance. Our associates live and work in the same communities you do, so we dedicate ourselves to helping worthy causes throughout the areas we serve. We aim high to help as much as we can.
Across our service areas in the United States and Canada, we donate toys to children, assemble care packages for deployed troops and homeless people, collect school supplies, gather donations for food banks and help build homes with Habitat for Humanity.
As a corporation, FirstService Residential also provides assistance to our residents in times of emergency. We have established $10 million emergency funds to cover damages in many of our managed communities caused by catastrophic events, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, major snow, or flooding.
FirstService Residential’s Official Diversity and Inclusion Statement
It starts with us. We embrace diversity and inclusion objectives and initiatives to further enhance our corporate culture by amplifying our commitment to living our values.
At FirstService Residential, we believe in the value that associates of different racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, religions, gender, sexual orientation, ages and physical abilities bring to our company and the communities we manage. By promoting a diverse workforce, we build a strong foundation to serve our clients while cultivating an inclusive culture for teams and leaders to embrace differences and consider divergent points of view.
We embrace productive dialogue in our efforts to find mutually beneficial solutions for all of our stakeholders. We do not condone and do not tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind. The most lasting and effective way to build great relationships is through respect, trust and communication, where everyone’s voice is heard, respected and appreciated.
