We all know that going green is an ideal goal to help ourselves, our families and the environment. Increasing our attention and participation in sustainability practices also helps your community save money by increasing efficiency and reducing waste. At FirstService Residential Illinois, we are committed to green practices and we’re proud that several of our team members have achieved LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation from the US Green Building Council. These motivated associates have gained valuable knowledge to help clients identify ways to operate their communities more sustainably.  And we are very proud that some of our communities have earned LEED certification as well. 

As an organization, we believe that driving knowledge leadership in sustainability helps us implement green best practices in our managed communities, as well as in our own offices. Our approach includes educating our leadership team, associates, Board members and homeowners about green issues and sustainability best practices for their communities and operations.
