Mark D. Hopkins leads our Ontario market of 1,000+ associates, proudly serving over 400 communities and over 50,000 units across the province. Mark oversees the executive leadership team along with other senior leaders throughout the organization. His responsibilities include client satisfaction, accelerated growth, financial performance, associate retention, employee development and strategic planning.
 
Since joining the company in 2013, Mark has previously held positions of Vice President (2013 – 2018) and Senior Vice President, (2018 – 2019), prior to his promotion to President in 2019. In 2017, Mark was appointed to the inaugural Board of Directors of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Canada Chapter and continues to serve on the Board. Prior to joining FirstService Residential, Hopkins held several senior leadership roles during a nine-year tenure at Cintas Corporation (2004 – 2013), a global leader in uniforms and facility services. 
 
Mark attended Wilfrid Laurier University (Honours Business Administration) and currently resides in Newmarket, Ontario. Outside of work, Mark focuses on investing quality time with his family and two children. He also enjoys travel and notes his favourite destinations to date as Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, Bahamas, Venezuela, Netherlands, and Austria. Mark enjoys cheering on Toronto’s Blue Jays, Raptors, Maple Leafs, as well as the Miami Dolphins.

Sandro joined Crossbridge in June of 1987 and has occupied the positions of Property Manager and Regional Property Manager. In September 1999, Sandro was promoted to the role of Senior Vice-President of Operations, providing technical, operational, financial and supervisory support to the Regional Property Managers, Boards, suppliers/contractors and executive staff. 

In January of 2010, Sandro was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and in April 2012 to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer. As of January 1, 2018 Sandro, was appointed to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Sandro oversees all day to day operations and ensures the delivery of Crossbridge's management services.

In conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for the overall management and growth of the condominium management division, including strategic direction, business development and performance. Additionally, Sandro provides consulting services to Developer clients launching new developments and he is involved in the start up of all new developments.  His dedication to team building, employee satisfaction and enhancing customer service relations supports one of Crossbridge's primary initiatives. Sandro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo and is a member in good standing with both the Institute of Real Estate Management (Toronto Chapter) and ACMO.

As Senior Vice President, Finance, Roy Almeida is responsible for the financial management of the organization, including reporting, planning, contract management and business optimization. Roy also has responsibility for Client Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Finance Startup, all of which are key parts of the service offering to our clients.
 
Roy has been with FirstService since 2018, with previous multi-national experience in mining, manufacturing and public accounting in Canada and Australia. Roy has a track record of delivering substantial improvements in client satisfaction, business performance and profitability through the implementation of innovative management frameworks, business systems and processes.
 
Roy has an Executive MBA from the University of Western Australia, and is a member of CPA Ontario, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). Outside of work, Roy is passionate about what he describes as his 5 Fs; Faith, Family, Friends, Food and Footy (Rugby).

Jeff is a results-driven Vice President, Operations, Toronto with a proven track record of success. As the leader of the Support Services Department and manager of all facets of the company's property management operations in Toronto, Jeff brings extensive property services knowledge and over 20 years of leadership experience to his role.
 
Jeff joined FirstService Residential in 2012 as a Regional Account Manager and has held several impactful leadership positions before being promoted to Vice President, Operations in 2018. Throughout his time with the company, Jeff has built a reputation for embracing our core values and driving growth and success. In his current role, Jeff leads the Regional Director team in the city of Toronto and is committed to delivering exceptional service and value to our clients.
 
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors and is passionate about lawn care. He is also a devoted family man and resides in Whitby with his wife, Anabel, and son, Joshua. As a passionate Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Jeff brings the same level of dedication to his work as he does to his favourite team.

Anthony joined Crossbridge in May 2021 bringing over 25 years in the real estate industry.  His experience and focus are in the areas of operations, leasing, on-boarding new developments and overall asset management. Throughout his career he has been deeply involved in various asset classes including Office, Retail, Industrial and Mixed-Use Residential portfolios across Canada.  Anthony’s passion is developing, coaching, and mentoring his teams and prefers to manage from the front.

During his career, he has played an integral role in the re-development of several landmark assets in the GTA including Bayview Village, Fairview Mall,  The Shops of Don Mills and The Canary District. Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from York University and continuously upgrades his leadership skills through on-going training and finding opportunities to coach and mentor others.

As Vice President, Human Resources, Lori oversees the HR Department and leads all aspects of the associate cycle.  As a member of the executive leadership team, Lori provides the talent and people strategies, culture, diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to ensure a great place to work for all.  Lori and the HR team strive to create people practices that ensure a high level of organizational agility and readiness pertaining to the evolving needs of the industry and the organization.   Lori acts as our market’s key liaison with the organization’s HR leaders, driving our company initiatives and bringing our vision to life.
 
Lori has over 20 years of experience leading both Human Resources and operational teams throughout North America. Before joining FirstService Residential, Lori held senior leadership positions in high growth, dynamic organizations in marketing, retail and hospitality, including roles as an Operation Leader at Target Canada, Vice President of Human Resources at Consumer Impact Marketing and Director of Human Resources and Director of Operations for Cara Operations. In her personal time, Lori enjoys spending time with her husband and three children at the cottage.  She is also a BodyAttack group fitness and TRX instructor.

Stephanie joined Crossbridge as part of the acquisition of the condominium portfolio of Abinger Investment Properties Inc. on June 1, 2000. In 1990 Stephanie graduated from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Business Management degree. From there she joined Abinger Investment Properties Inc. managing a mix of Condominiums and Rental Properties. In 1993 she obtained her R.C.M. designation and sat on the Board of Directors of ACMO for three years.

In the ten years Stephanie was with Abinger, she helped develop the Condominium portfolio and brought a portfolio of 6 properties to Crossbridge. Stephanie was promoted to the position of Regional Vice-President at Crossbridge in 2012. Stephanie now has over 24 years of experience in the Condominium Management field and is a member in good standing with ACMO.

Stephanie joined FirstService Residential in 2024.

Audrey is the Vice President, Operations, GTA.  She has been in the industry for over two decades and obtained the RCM Designation in 2006. Audrey has maintained senior leadership roles within the industry for the past 15+ years and held the position of Regional Vice President for twelve years previously prior to joining the organization. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) and was elected as the President of ACMO in 2018 and served a two-year term.
 
Audrey brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion and a solid understanding of client’s needs and expectations with the objective of coming to a collective agreement and resolution for all parties involved.  Audrey has emceed many events, chaired various meetings, and appeared as a guest speaker on “The Agenda” with Steve Paikin in relation to the condominium industry.
 
Audrey's passion is people, and her strategy is to build long standing healthy business relationships within the industry in general while focusing and adapting to the consistent changes, legislation and new regulations to assist in the deliverance of first-class professional property management. Audrey personally likes to play golf for fun and spend time with her family and two dogs.

Alana joined Crossbridge in 2005 and was promoted to Regional Manager in April 2010.  She has her B.A. from York University and is a graduate of Humber College.  Alana holds her R.C.M. designation and has worked in the industry for 14 years managing and actively implementing strategies to maximize value within a diverse commercial and residential property portfolio. 

Alana is a professional member in good standing with ACMO and works diligently to ensure that the tenets of Crossbridge Service Excellence continue to be seen as the benchmark in the condominium management industry.

Alana joined FirstService Residential in 2024.

Bill joined Crossbridge in 2012 and brings over 25 years of management experience to the condominium sector.  Bill holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University (2005).   He is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association having achieved the designation Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) in 2006. 

Having managed Crossbridge flagship luxury condominiums, he has been involved in many projects including major garage repairs, refurbishment initiatives and energy retrofits.  Bill was a co-recipient of the Genesis Award introduced by ACMO in 2015 to recognize a newcomer to the condominium management industry who has demonstrated exceptional service and commitment to their craft.  Bill holds his R.C.M. designation and is a professional member in good standing with ACMO.  Bill was promoted to Regional Manager in 2019.

As Vice President, Community Development & Governance, John oversees all facets of developer consulting and is responsible for providing a seamless transition throughout a project’s lifecycle. This includes consulting, transitions and governance adherence to applicable legislation. This role includes leading a dedicated team and leveraging the company’s vast expertise in all aspects of condominium development and management. John is a member of the executive leadership team.
 
John is a 20+ year RCM with 30+ years experience in our industry. Prior employment in construction and real estate led to a strong interest in simplifying complex shared facilities agreements for property managers. Accomplishments for John include ACMO’s Manager of the Year and President’s Award. John served 6 years on ACMO’s Board of Directors, serving 2 years as President, co-chaired two Annual Condominium Conferences, chaired the Certification & Standards Committee, and served on several ACMO committees. John led the company in achieving the ACMO 2000 certification, and strives to achieve higher standards for our company, associates and our clients.

As Vice President, Client Engagement & Business Development, Stacey develops and leads the Ontario market strategies and initiatives for all prospective business opportunities, while promoting continuous community growth and client satisfaction. Prior to joining FirstService Residential, Stacey established a boutique property management firm specializing in condominium management throughout the GTA which managed over $80M of client assets and was sold to a North American property management firm in July 2017.
 
A condominium professional since 2010, Stacey has 25+ years of experience in business development, marketing, strategic planning and mentorship in various industries. Stacey is a Registered Condominium Manager (RCM), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), and holds her Ontario License for Condominium Management (OLCM). She is a Member of Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) and the Canadian Condominium Institute of Toronto (CCI-T), where she also volunteers her time as a Board Member, along with volunteering on various committees. Outside of work, Stacey is facilitator at Humber College, where she teaches several CMRAO courses that are a requirement to obtain the OLCM. Stacey is passionate about travelling, continual learning, cycling, swimming, and enjoys getting together with colleagues, friends, and family.

Murray joined Crossbridge in 2008 bringing with him over seven years of experience as a Regional Manager in the condominium industry. Murray entered residential property management in 1992 following over 10 years of International Project Management and Facility Management with a large multi-national manufacturing firm. With experience in ISO 9000, Employee Training and Development, and Organizational Development, Murray provides in-house Tarion and Performance Audit consulting to Crossbridge managed properties.

Recognized in 2012 as one of Canada's top four Sustainability Champions in energy efficiency projects by Building Strategies and Sustainability magazine, Murray in conjunction with the  Manager of Energy and Sustainability, continues to lead Crossbridge's energy portfolio to maintain Crossbridge’s position as the recognized leader for the development of long-term condominium client energy reduction. In 2019 the Canadian Condominium Institute awarded Murray with the “Distinguished Service Award” and in 2016 , ACMO awarded Murry with a “Special Recognition Award”.

Murray continues to be active in supporting condominium communities throughout Ontario as well as condominiums from coast to coast through his directorship with the Canadian Condominium Institute – Toronto and Area Chapter.

As Senior Director, Client Accounting, Sam Hollend leads the client accounting teams for the Ontario market. This includes property accountants, accounts receivable, and finance start-up, all of which are core services we provide to our clients.
 
Sam has over 8 years of experience in accounting and leadership roles. Before joining FirstService Residential, Sam was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young LLP. During his time with Ernst & Young LLP, Sam worked on audit teams for large multi-national clients in the manufacturing, retail, and renewable energy sectors. Sam is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (Honours Business Administration) and is a member of CPA Ontario. In his personal time, Sam loves to spend time with his wife and two young boys. Sam also has a passion for slalom waterskiing.   

As director of energy management for FirstService Energy’s North region including Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Illinois, Minnesota, and Missouri, Rob works with our clients to identify and develop a cost-effective strategy tailored to their unique needs and energy goals. Some of the projects Rob helps facilitate include LED lighting, controls, EV charging, energy auditing, and electricity price optimization. 

Joining FirstService Energy, Rob brings 15 years of energy management experience working directly with multi-unit residential owners.  Rob is an engineer, holds a master’s in business, and is a Certified Energy Manager.

As Director, Service Excellence, Mike’s main responsibilities include conducting detailed quality assurance audits to provide coaching feedback, recognition, best-practice implementation, and support to our field teams..  Mike also works closely with our support services teams and leads many of our inventory and supply chain management, to ensure our teams have the proper tools to succeed in the field. He also oversees our customer satisfaction survey program and various other initiatives focused on customer service and resident experience.
 
Mike has 25+ years of experience in related customer service industries. Prior to joining FirstService Residential, Mike held other key leadership roles at Cintas Corporation, in developing client experience strategies and delivering on strategic objectives to foster long-term client relationships. Outside of work, Mike’s main passion is his family and a second place goes to going to the gym.

 

As Business Development Director, Jimmy grows FirstService Residential’s footprint in the suburban Ontario market outside of the city of Toronto. This involves understanding the issues that community board members face and providing creative FirstService Residential solutions to solve them.

Jimmy brings with him both Business Development and Operations experience to his role at FirstService providing him with a multifaceted perspective to best serve our clients. Having spent much of his life in Manitoba prior to relocating to the GTA, Jimmy attended Brandon University earning an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration. In his personal time, Jimmy enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and spending time with friends. 

Harrison Simms-Brown is the Community Development Director, working closely with many of Ontario’s top condominium developers. His responsibilities include establishing, building, and maintaining key stakeholder relationships while obtaining a clear and mutual appreciation of client needs in order to align our teams on the unique and necessary resources to bring a new project to fruition for our developer partners.
 
Having worked as a residential realtor, along with past experience as a project manager for a large real estate development, Harrison has accumulated a keen understanding and well-rounded knowledge of the complexities of condominium living and utilizes that work with our developer partners and internal teams to ensure our shared vision becomes reality for the community at hand. Outside of work, Harrison’s interests spawn into all different aspects of sport and recreation and spending quality time with his family.
