KANSAS CITY, Mo., (Sept 18, 2017): FirstService Residential, the leading property management company in Kansas City, hosted more than 130 homeowner association board members at its 15th Annual Board of Directors’ Forum on September 6th at Harrah’s Casino in North Kansas City.

Following a vendor fair and networking opportunity, attendees heard from Rod Hoffman, esq, of Martin Pringle Attorneys at Law, about the anatomy of an HOA lawsuit and Joel Davis of CAU Insurance about risk management for associations. The event was capped off with a presentation by Jordan Muchnick, vice president lending, FirstService Financial, who helped board members better understand association loans. 
 
“This year’s industry experts helped attendees navigate complex HOA issues and gain a deeper understanding of how to effectively manage their communities,” added Lentz, “and we will continue to place an emphasis on educating board members so they can make the most of their time serving their communities.”
