Leadership

Steven Parker serves as president of FirstService Residential in Nevada. Parker joined FirstService Residential in 2008. He is responsible for creating, communicating and implementing the company’s vision in Nevada.
 
Parker has served in this role since 2012. Prior to joining FirstService Residential, he was the president of Red Rock Financial Services, a Las Vegas-based collections agency specializing in serving the unique needs of homeowners associations (HOAs). Parker also served as chief operating officer for Silver State Mortgage, where he managed operations for the $4.5 billion national mortgage bank.
 
He received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Parker has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America for many years and is an Eagle Scout. 

Jennifer Huerta serves as Vice President of Community & Lifestyle in Nevada.  Jennifer joined FirstService Residential in 2016.  She is responsible for ensuring that the daily business practices meet operational goals and deliver exceptional service and solutions to our clients. 
 
Prior to her role as Vice President, Jennifer served as Regional Director for the organization.  She has over 18 years of experience in the property management industry has extensive leadership experience and has worked with a number of communities including prestigious mixed use high-rise and luxury condos, large scale communities and developer accounts. She is also Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. 
 

Lauren Starner serves as vice president of community and lifestyle
services for FirstService Residential in Nevada. She first joined
FirstService Residential in 2011 and has served in several roles within
the organization. The combination of her background, including on-site
experience, communication and marketing, and past accomplishments
make her valuable in this role.
 
Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada-Reno
where she studied marketing and business administration. She is an
active volunteer within the CIC industry  and holds multiple certifications,
including her Supervising Community Manager’s License, DCAL, CMCA, AMS
and PCAM designations.
 

Prior to joining FirstService Residential, Tom Reed was the associate director and global process owner for a $4.2 billion consumer products company within Global Financial Shared Services. His role was responsible for general accounting areas including all aspects of the ME Close cycle, associated SOX Controls, and general accounting functions including Capital, Treasury, Master Data, Intercompany and Sales/Use Tax/Property Tax. Additionally, this role coordinated process improvements, metrics and SAP ERP enhancements across 53 global markets and 350 finance professionals, with ownership of a team of 35 outsourced off-shore accounting team members. 

In addition to responsibility areas above, while working for a major retailer, Reed also led accounts payable functions for $10 billion in annual volume for 1100-units and 4,000 vendors. The scope of Reed’s responsibilities also included real estate and supply chain accounting teams. This role participated in transitioning the function to a Shared Services Center through development of Service Level Agreements and budgeting.

Reed began his career within Internal Audit, progressing to the role of audit manager, before transitioning to the Shared Services environment.

Reed is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor.     

Michael Quagrello serves as vice president of community and lifestyle at FirstService Residential in Nevada. Michael joined the company in 2022 with more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. His client-focused approach is invaluable to this role.
 
Prior to joining FirstService Residential, Michael led teams spanning eight states and more than 40 resorts. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional service through his leadership and relationship-building expertise.

Michael studied hotel management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
 
 

Rafael Siguenza serves as Director of HR for FirstService Residential in Nevada. He joined FirstService Residential in 2022 and oversees associate relations and recruitment efforts. 

Rafael brings more than two decades of experience to FirstService Residential. He’s held leadership roles in HR, operations, and general management across a diverse range of industries. Most recently, he led the HR department for a local hospital serving almost 1000 employees. He’s also provided HR oversight in the hospitality industry for close to 2000 employees at 50 sites spanning 13 states.

Rafael received a BA in Organization Management from The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, CA. He later went on to earn his MBA with an emphasis on Marketing from National University in Fresno. Rafael has also completed three years of academic work towards a doctoral degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Human Resources at Walden University. In addition, he’s a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Society for Human Resource Management.
