Somerset Run Condominium Association Coordinates “Polar Plunge” to Benefit St. Jude’s
Somerset, N.J. (January 19, 2024) – On 1/19, Somerset Run Condominium Association – a 55 and better active adult community managed by FirstService Residential and located in Somerset, New Jersey – coordinated a “Polar Plunge” event to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®.
With additional support from the Franklin Township Fire Department, the community successfully raised over $5,000 to benefit the organization.
“Since we had to open the pool to put a new pool liner in, we thought, ‘why not use this as an opportunity to do some good and have some fun in the process,’” said Stephen Slotnick, community manager, FirstService Residential.
Residents came out to show support to Slotnik and Robert Smith, assistant community manager, who dove into the 35-degree pool to raise funds and awareness for the cause.
